Annual Earth Day Fair

Join the many groups that will be represented from 5:30pm-7:30pm, including PleasantvilleRecycles: Greenburgh Nature Center, Hilltop Hanover Farm, Westmoreland Sanctuary, Stone Barns, Riverkeeper, Grassroots Environmental Education, Solar oven demo, Groundwork Hudson Valley/ Science Barge, PH Environmental Action Club, Edible gardens (PMS, PHS), Pleasantville Community Garden, Pleasantville Garden Club. Also the Farmers Market, Phil McGrath will do a salad demo/sampling, Bookstore will sell books related to local food. And more!

Drop off sneakers in any condition at the collection box. They will be ground up into playground and running track surfaces through Nike Reuse-a-Shoe! 2000+ pairs collected over the last 8 years!

Sports Equipment/Bike Drop-off Day

Bring your used sports equipment and bikes in any condition! We'll be happily accepting your goodies at the Henckels' parking lot, next to the DPW, 1 Village Lane from 9am-3pm. We do not accept helmets and skis. Please see our EVENT page for details . Bikes will be donated to Recycle-A-Bicyle.org and all sports equipment will be given-away for FREE on May 16 at our booth during Pleasantville day on a first come, first served basis—so come early and score great finds!
